My Nanny
Born in 1984 in Sanchong District, Taiwan, I have been engaged in art since high school, and now I am nearing 40. Occasionally, I create some illustrations, and my wife has always believed that I have the potential to create picture books. Fortunately, with some opportunities arising, I managed to squeeze out some time to slowly craft some picture books for my two beloved sons.
I love my nanny.
She sings songs to me.
She knows a lot of things.
She acts and performs for me.
Sometimes, she falls asleep suddenly.
She plays games with me.
She listens to me when I talk.
She reminds me when it's time to sleep.
Although she doesn't feed me,
I enjoy staring at her.
I like holding onto her tightly.
I love having her around me.
Even though she never hugs me,
Ah! Mom and dad are finally back home.
My favorite is still mom and dad.
Nowadays, most parents use tablets or smartphones with multimedia content to entertain children, which is undoubtedly convenient in many ways. However, we should carefully consider what children truly need in the midst of various influences. Can such a nanny provide what they need?
